A Community Christmas
A Community Christmas of Stark County was founded over 60 years ago to provide vital assistance to those in need during the holiday season. Ensuring that every individual served has the ability to celebrate Christmas through programs. Adopt-A-Family, Christmas Giving Center, Senior/Disabled Adult, and the Mitten Tree.
2024 Community Christmas
This year our employees adopted two local families, giving the chance to give back to the community and show the holiday spirit with clothes, toys, gift cards, groceries, and kindness! Bringing the brightness and holiday cheer beyond the building.
2022 Community Christmas Campaign at Genie
Each year, the team members of The Genie Company, partners with “A Community Christmas”, to sponsor some “Adopt-A-Family” families. As a result of our team members' kind spirit, new clothing, new toys, gift cards, grocery gift certificates, and non-perishable foods were donated. This helped provide a special Christmas for a few households in Stark County, in order to make their children’s holiday a bit brighter. Our team members look forward to continuing this strong relationship with “A Community Christmas” for years to come.

Christmas In July Celebration Collects Donations
Successful event provides help for a local food pantry
In July 2021 The Genie team gathered for a Christmas in July celebration. This celebration was put together by Genie team members to collect monetary and food donations for The Love Center, a local food pantry in Millersburg.
The Love Center has been helping families since 1986. Currently, they are helping over 700 families through their services each year. The pantry strives to have a welcoming and friendly atmosphere where all are treated with dignity and respect. One of the ways they do this is by having their pantry set up as a "Choice" food pantry which resembles a grocery store. This allows clients to choose the products most suitable for their family's needs.
The Love Center operates from community support and local volunteers. The donations provided from our Christmas in July celebration will be added to the resources that will be shared with those In need.
