Celebrating 13 Years of Running for a Cause: The Genie / WD 5K Run & 1-Mile Walk

September in Mt. Hope, OH, holds a special place in our hearts. Thirteen years ago, we launched the Genie / WD 5K Run and 1-Mile Walk as a small local event. Fast-forward to today, and the 13th edition saw over 800 Genie and Overhead Door employees from across the U.S. and Mexico joining in – whether in person or virtually – for this meaningful cause.

At The Genie Company, we are committed to continuing this tradition for years to come. As the event grows, so does the impact we can make together. The true champion of this event is the American Cancer Society®, which benefits from the increasing donations that result from our collective efforts.
